Geothermal
There has never been a better time to consider a geothermal system than right now. The Federal government is giving a 30% tax credit on the total cost of the installation. Talk about big savings!
What is a Geothermal Heating and Cooling System?
Geothermal systems have been used in the United States for decades. We are beginning to see more of them in Utah. As energy costs rise and awareness of our environment increases we are finding more homeowners turning toward geothermal systems for their solutions.
How does it work?
A geothermal system, also known as geo-exchange or ground source heat pump, uses the energy in the earth to heat and cool your home. We install piping in the ground outside your home and then harness the energy in the earth to condition your home. Because the Earth has an average temperature of 59 degrees there is a constant source of energy to heat and cool your home year round for pennies on the dollar. Geothermal heat pumps are the most efficient means to heat and cool the home. The initial installation cost is greater than that of a conventional furnace and air conditioning system. However, the savings in utilities gets your return on investment much faster. We are certified and trained in both piping design and installation of these units.
